San Sebastian to Madrid

Got up nice and early and headed to the train station with what we thought was heaps of time but… turns out day light savings put the clocks forward 1hr and no one decided to tell us…YAY! No thats not right, okay missed the train. We had checked out, had our bags with us and the next train wasnt for 7hrs. So we decided to laze about a park for the day. Time went pretty quick and this time we caught the train. To our supprise the train ticket guy who told us we missed our train changed our tickets and bumped us up to preferente class. Which meant we had a meal and some drinks and nibbles…almost made it worth it. Got into Madrid @ 10pm, caught the tube to our hostel and they greeted us remarkably warmly. Went to bed @ midnight purely to watch me age. I had forgotten it was my birthday and even more so(perhaps on purpose) forgotten it was my 30th. No plans as yet for the day. Havent really planned to see much in Madrid, more of less just a stop over on the way to Seville.
