Paris: Day 2

Isn’t sleep great? Especially 12 hours of it in one go? Well that seemed to cure our jet lag a bit and we woke feeling more like human beings again this morning. So much so, we were able to set out on a full day of token sightseeing of many famous monuments in Paris. We purchased full-day unlimited passes(Mobilis pour Zones 1-2) for the metro (subway) and also did a lot of walking. I won’t go into more detail about monuments because, honestly, who gives a crap? 😉 But check out the photos below.

What I love about Paris so far are the clichés we seem to be constantly taking part in: eating baguettes with cheese and other nice ingredients inside; drinking very strong coffee; walking and soaking in the sunshine; lazing around in parks just watching the day go by; drinking red wine out of plastic cups in our hostel room (actually, that’s not exactly a cliché, but hey, it’s red wine in Paris for 1.5€). It’s these little things that make the whole experience so enjoyable.
