Cat – she came to us in our time of need and delighted us with her funny antics and affectionate disposition. She visited us every day for a few months. She totally changed my mind about cats.
But one day she was not waiting at the door for us in the morning. A few weeks later she showed up one more time, just flitted into the house as if no time had passed. After that day she was never to be seen or heard from again.
